Better late than never

Okay, I realize it's been too long since I've last posted. I gotta tell you, these kiddies are keeping me BUSY. They are both non-stop. So here are a few pics from our trip to see Uncle Eric and Titi Cynthia in NC and after.

Our Photographer

So Thomas got a great Kids digital camera for his birthday from his Auntie Bev and Grandma Diana. He's been taking pictures like crazy with it and I thought it would be fun to post them.

Thomas is 3

Boy oh boy, it's been a crazy week. Thomas' birthday was actually April 25, but time has just flown. His birthday was GREAT. He loved his guitar!!!!!!He also got a few other trains and cars but his guitar was the "big" gift and he's officially a rock star.
When I thought about blogging for his birthday I originally planned on posting some of his baby pics but have since decided to just put up recent pics. Looking at his baby pics make me a little teary eyed. My tiny baby is a big boy now.
Art took the week off and we had such a great time just hanging out as a family. Thomas just loved having Dad at his beck and call for the week.
He also loved his train cake (thankfully) Note to anyone even thinking of attempting such an endeavor. Give yourself more time than you think you will need. It was way harder than I thought it would be, and even though it came out looking pretty "homemade" the joy he had when he saw it made up for all the trouble I had with it. He was just so excited and thanked me for his train cake over and over. Does a Mom need anything else? I love that guy!!!!!!
Saturday the 26 we went to the Bronx Zoo with our favorite buddy Hudson and his family and friends. I wish I had a better pic to post of our Hud, (just a back with a hug, he doesn't like pictures) His birthday is the same day as Thomas and we just love him to pieces.
Christine had a great time too. She's recently discovered the park and all it has to offer. Now as soon as she see the swing she starts clapping. It's too funny.
If I think too hard about it, I will cry. I can't believe I have a 3 year old and an 8 month old. It's been a long road, but they are just the most wonderful little people in the world. Art and I thank God every day for them.

The #1 Bithday Gift

Here's a picture of what Thomas wants for his birthday. He has been requesting it since Christmas. All he talks about is guitars. I can't wait to take a picture of him "playing"it. We think he's going to love it

Julia- Does it look familiar? E-mail me!!!!!

Let the Madness Begin

I finally picked up the cake pan for Thomas' train cake. I found it at really cute local cake decorating shop instead of online. I've been trying to support local business lately. Anyway, after the initial "look how cute" I realized I may have raised the bar a little high for myself. A little too ambitious even for my "Martha Stewart"self. I'm going to do a trial run this weekend as see how we do. 8 days left until my tiny baby boy turns THREE. I don't even want to talk about it, it's too much.

Look how sweet they look together, looks like they don't fight or carry on at all. FALSE ADVERTISING.

Why does God let Mothers get sick?

No pictures today, (the little one has a huge bruise on her face from being "adventurous") I just want to know why God lets Mom get sick. I think upon the birth of each child there should be some sort of immunity given until the child is of school age. I am sick and miserable and at home with two little kids. BOO

Crawling

It's been about two weeks now, and Christine has mastered crawling. It's much earlier than Thomas did. She's pretty fast actually. Thomas has been helping her "practice ". He's a great big brother as long as she is not trying to get his trains. When she does get to the trains we call her Godzilla. She gets this look in her eye and then SMASH!!!!!. Thomas also taught her how to wave. It's really funny, she waves at anything and everything, toys, food and people. Thomas is just gearing up for the big 3. He's just so excited. He has only two requests, a train cake and a guitar. (Thanks Uncle Evan and Uncle Marc, he's been totally in love with guitars since Thanksgiving).
