Blue, Magenta and Autumn Fun

I made the kids costumes this year. There was just no way I was paying a zillion dollars for costumes to be worn for a few hours. While I was up late one night applying "spots" to Blue and Magenta it occured to me, I am just like my Mom. I was rearranging the spots for symetry and overall appearance. The other pictures are from a farm we took the kids to for apple and pumkin picking.

It's over

The move that is.....It was fast and furious and we've collectively decided to hire LOTS of people to do it next time. Thanks to the Jones are in order for all their man (and Woman) power. It was really appreciated!!!!!!
Now all we have to do is unpack.......

The Beginning of the End

Well it's that time of year. In 15 days my tiny little princess will be one year old. This year has flown by so quickly, I have to admit I have no clue how it happened so fast. One minute we were staring at this tiny perfect baby girl with wonder and amazement.....now were chasing after this fast walking opinionated little girl. I just don't know how we got here.

To add insult to my injured heart, our guy will be starting pre-school in a few short weeks. He talks about it each and everyday and just can't wait....I on the other hand know I will be shedding some tears as I leave him for the first time. BIG SIGH!!!!! Growing up is hard to do...for the Moms.

In happier news we are gearing up for a move. Not far...at all. Just down the street. We are busting at the seams here and need more room....or less toys. If all goes as planned my post for the gal's b'day will be from our new dwelling.

Here are some cutie pie pics of my fast aging kiddies!!!!

New look and old pics

Well here is our new look. I hate to toot my own horn but I'm pretty proud of myself. I have been checking out a bunch of other blogs (Thanks Tina) and realized we too could have a fun new look. After some tinkering for the last few days, this is what I'm going with. Hope everyone likes it.
As promised here are a few pics from the last month or so. The one of Christine with the pacifier is really funny because she has never used one, Thomas likes to play with them (don't ask) so she thought she's give it a go. She's right on the verge of running across the living room. She's still a little apprehensive but will walk 3 or 4 steps to get a toy. Thomas is gearing up for school in September. He's so excited he may burst (hope the enthusiasm sticks around for a good long time). I think it will be so good for him to branch out some.
The other cutie is our cousin "baby Ray". Thomas just thinks he is the greatest thing ever and would trade his sister in a second. I haven't been able to explain to him that in a few months Baby Ray will be into everything just like his sister.

Looking like Pop-Pop

Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T

There are some pictures of my Dad from when he was in the Marines and Thomas looks just like him here. Funny, he's such a clone of Art but every once in a while I see little bits of my Dad

With a smile like this

is it any wonder she's got us wrapped around her finger

Updates

No pictures today, just boring Mommy commentary. Boredom has set in big here...for Art & I not so much for the kids. I thought I might as well update the blog and spice it up a bit. Currently green is my favorite color. I have a ton of picture I have to upload. I've been so addicted to my new phone I've completely forgotten about all the new pictures on my camera.
The kids are just dandy. Thomas is really into baseball right now. Every free second Art has is spent pitching balls to him. For a three year old he's pretty good. He actually hits a good number of them, when he misses he gets all upset...it's so sad. He puts a great deal of pressure on himself when he can't do something well...I hope he relaxes a bit as he gets older, I doubt it, he is Art's little clone. Christine is her usual sunny self. Not walking yet, just crawling with lightening speed. She gets into so much, way more than Thomas did. She misses nothing and gives you a devilish smile. It's hysterical really. Along with her constant chatter, who knew a baby has so much to say. Well I better go attend to them, I'm not hearing much sound from the living room right now and as all you Mothers know, quiet children are usually in the most trouble.

These feet are made for walking

Okay the title is totally cheesy but, my little gal is on the verge of something big these days. We're expecting anyday she will be walking. We could be wrong of course, but she's very convincing. Here she is at the park with a push toy acting like a pro.

we've got video too!!!

Not sure this is going to work but here goes. Here's Thomas riding his bike. It's so freakin cute I can't stand it. As you can tell I LOVE my new Blackberry!!!!! This video is actually from Art's phone, but today I finally figued out how to work the video on mine. I have to say, having the phone that does all this cool stuff makes blogging easier.... oh, did I mention, Thomas is officially potty trained!!!!!! Here we come pre-school!!!!!
